Flexible Catheters Single Leader

Multiple Treatment Options: The Flexible Catheters Single Leader Set has been designed for HDR interstitial brachythe rapy, especially for breast, sarcoma, head and neck treatments. The set contains 20 Flexible Catheters Single Leader with an outside diameter of 1.65 mm and a length of 300 mm, 20 stainless steel hollow needles for an easy implantation of the flexible catheters and a cutter for the flexible catheters.

Meeting Clinical Needs: The flexible catheters are also available in lengths of 200 mm. All of them are Flexible Catheters Single Leader with stop buttons which prevent the flexible catheter from moving into the tissue after insertion. No extra fixation buttons are necessary on this side. If the fixation buttons are not needed, they can easily be removed. Integrated core filaments prevent kinking and damage of the flexible catheters during insertion. This core can be easily removed before the treatment, and should be reinserted between fractions to avoid kinking of the flexible catheters. The flexible catheters and hollow needles are provided sterile allowing immediate clinical use and are single use only.

Secure Fixation and Better Visibility: Optional fixation balls are available to secure the flexible catheters. The reusable fixation balls can be easily attached to the flexible catheters by using the respective opening forceps. For better visibility, x-ray markers can be ordered.
