Disposable Steel Needle Set

Wide Range of Applications: The Disposable Steel Needle Set is intended for various interstitial brachytherapy applications. The needles are made of stainless steel, with a length of 210 mm and a diameter of 17G for use with 17G templates.

Essential for Prostate Treatment: The disposable steel needles are suitable for the prostate treatment. For the first dwell position of the source the distance between the tip of the needle and the center of the radioactive core is only 6.75 mm. This may improve the dose coverage of the prostate. Optical marking on the needles help to estimate the inserted length.

Easy Insertion: The disposable steel needles can be inserted easily into the tissue by using the obturator. They are provided sterile for immediate clinical use and are intended for single use only. To avoid waste of sterile needles, packages containing both one piece and five pieces per package are provided.
