Tongue and Mouth Applicator Set

Easy Insertion: The Tongue and Mouth Applicator Set is used for the brachytherapy of the tongue and floor of the mouth. The 16G plastic needles are designed to be easily inserted with an obturator ensuring an accurate implant of the target volume. The fixation caps are tolerable for the patient during treatment by covering the needle tips.

Effective Fixation: The set includes two anatomically shaped holders for fixation caps. The holders are designed to attach the caps in the glossal or subglossal area. Fixation balls ensure that the needles remain in place.

Precise Dose Distribution: By providing the tools to easily implant this difficult area, it is possible to obtain a precise dose distribution which completely encompasses the target volume. The Tongue and Mouth Applicator Set streamlines interstitial brachytherapy, and is tolerable for the patient during treatment.
