There are two different types of collets. The obturator collet is larger with a longer threaded portion and can only be used on the obturator channels. The template collet is shorter and can only be used on the template channels. Depending on the needle diameter the collets have different colors.
These bronze Obturator Needle Collets are made of titanium and intended for 1.65 mm diameter Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG plastic needles.
