The CT/MR Rectal Retractor is used to increase the distance of the surrounding organs (e.g. rectum) from the source during a gynaecological brachytherapy procedure. It is intended for use exclusively with Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG HDR afterloading systems.

The CT/MR Rectal Retractor is an optional accessory part for use with various gynaecological 3-channel applicators and 1-channel applicators and consists of a bracket, a paddle and a rod.
