HDR Prostate Treatment: The Prostate Set is used for perineal implant of plastic needles for HDR prostate treatment. The set contains a 16G fixation template (reusable) and 200 mm 16G plastic needles with corresponding obturators. The template can be steam sterilized. The fixation template can be mounted on a stepper for ultrasound-guided treatment planning.

Template Usability: The template is compatible with DK-Tech and CIVCO steppers, which are themselves compatible with a wide range of ultrasound probes. The grid of the template contains holes (16G) in 5 mm spacing and matches the ultrasound image grid, in order to facilitate insertion. Together with the SagiPlan^® and HDRplus Prostate Module, it can be used for live ultrasound-guided treatment planning.

Simultaneous Locking: After insertion, all needles can be locked simultaneously in the template with the thumbscrew, which prevents needle movement during the treatment. The set also contains ten reusable obturators for the plastic needles and five reusable stainless steel needles to puncture perineum before inserting the plastic needle.
